In
the pages of this website you will find ME or at least most
of ME.
I say most in that what I won't give information about are my
kids. To me they are just to precious to me to expose to the
world. It is one thing to talk about me and my struggles and
triumphs, it is another to endanger my kids. I may mention
them but I will not give any details or present pictures of them so, if
you want to see what they look like, DON'T ASK!
Now that I have got that out of the way, I am a long haul truck driver
and I have been in 45 of the lower 48 states and Canada. What
I think makes me different from other drivers is that I am LDS, ie I am
a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and still
try and practice my beliefs and I can tell you that being a long haul
truck driver doesn't really mesh in a lot of respects. That
being said I believe I can make it work. My goal with this
site is to help those that care to understand what it is like being a
truck driver. I will also get into my struggle to make my belief in God
fit with my career choice. |

Man, am I the laziest person when it come to keeping this
sight updated. A lot has hapened since we last talked. The
most recent would be what happened on the First of June. I
was rudely awakend that morning at 05:30 by the rocking of my truck.
When I looked out my window I came face to face with another
driver that had hit my truck with his trailer. After he said
sorry he backed up and drove off. I did catch his truck number
and the company that he drove for. I got ahold of the a phone
number to call his company. I first called 911 and told them that
I had a hit and run and they would dispatch a officer. I then
call Werner and told them that they better get a hold of their driver
and get his butt back before the police write it up as a hit and run.
Well shortly after the officer drove up the other driver walked
up. We then exchanged info and the officer gave him a talking to
about driving off like he did. Later he told me that he was just
lazy and was trying to do a pull through but his laziness extended to
not keeping in his mirrors to see what his trailer was doing.
Now it has been two weeks and on Monday my truck will be in the shop to
be repaired. He did about $2500.00 worth of damage. you can
go to the pictures page and see the pictures of the damage. I'm
using my hometime with the kids to get it fixed. wHile imy truck
is in the shop I will be lodging in a local motel and driving a rental,
both of which Werner gets to pay for. It will be different not
staying in my truck while visiting with my kids. While I;m here
we are going to Six Flags and a place called Midevival Times. If
I remember the next time I will be able to talk to you will be
