Port Video Clips

ITS - Long Beach, CA              **NEW**

This is a delivery of that I made because another driver didn't want to back into this dock.  As you can see it was pretty easy getting in.  I was told that she said she could get in with all the cars on the street.  I was also told that when she was there the day before that there were fewer cars than what you see here.  I have been through construction zones that were narrower and traveling a lot faster.
Remember to expect the unexpected,  Watch this radical lanes change in Bakersfield, CA
Let take a trip down a construction luge and let see if you can see were I muttered a quick prayer to get through.
If you see an England truck parked on the side of the Interstate and it's not an emergency, then you will know that it is a no no.  This video demonstrates just what I'm talking about.
This was an accident that happened right in front of me in Virginia on I-81.  I was heading south on I-81 in the morning, traffic was heavy do to rush hour traffic.  After the accident happened I past the location and then came back around as a witness.  I then burned 3 CDs with the video clip on them and gave one to each of the persons involved, and the guy the did the rear ending wasn't to pleased.  And I gave one to the officer that arrived on the scene.  It was kind of funny when I came up to the cop, I said "Do you want a copy of the video of the accident?"  He looked at me for a second and with a kind of bewildered sound said "yes".  I'm sure that he hadn't ever had someone give him a video of an event before.  Needless to say, all I had to give him at that point was my name, address and phone number.
This clip shows just how courteous other drivers are, and for those that didn't pick up on it, I'm being sarcastic.  I was getting on to I-80 in Sparks, NV.  It was a single lane left hand turn.  The video tells the rest of the story.  I did call the Calex safety dept and they did get a copy of the video.
This one is a testament to following distance.  The guy in front of me smoked his tires but I didn't need to.  A good reason not to follow to close.
Expect the unexecpted.  In this video clip you will see how the actions of others can influence your own.  This was a wet day in Virginia and you will see how the lane change of another truck caused another car to loose control and slid into my lane.  Fortunate for me I had enough time to slow my truck and not connect with that car.
Here you will see what happens when people don't look and see what is coming from behind.
